reco, boulder landlords, boulder tenants, boulder rental marketBoulder, CO landlords and tenants: May 18th at 6:00 at the Municipal Building at 1777 Broadway is your opportunity to voice your opinion about the city's proposed new, so-called "SmartRegs" concerning rental property.  In a previous post we discussed some of the details of Boulder's proposed Rental Energy Conservation Ordinance (RECO); prior to next week's public hearing, you can also call and email your City Council member(s) and let them know your position.

Thanks to Ken Hotard at BARA, we have the list of all nine City Council members, their phone numbers and respective email addresses, as well as the email address that will go to all nine (and top staff) at once.  We also have a list of "talking points" provided by the Boulder County Apartment Association.  If you're interested, contact us and we'll be happy to email you this information right away.

This is an important issue that will have a long-term impact on the way the Boulder rental market operates in the future.  If you have any questions, feel free to let us know.
