Boulder Rental Market: Landlords and Tenants There's a Public Hearing Thursday
Posted by Phil Boren on Monday, April 19th, 2010 at 4:08pm.
The Boulder rental market may be impacted by proposed new energy-effeciency regulations. The City of Boulder is proposing some changes that have been estimated to cost Boulder landlords anywhere from $17M to as much as $35M to comply with; tenants fear the rent increases that will likely result.
The City of Boulder is holding a public meeting about this issue this Thursday, 4/22, at 6:00 pm at the Municipal Building at 1777 Broadway, in Boulder. If you're potentially impacted by these proposed changes and either support or oppose the proposed changes, this would be a good opportunity to make your voice heard!
