Boulder property taxes:  If you own Boulder real estate, you should have received your property tax bill recently from the Boulder County Assessor's office.  Entitled the "2011 Notice of Valuation", this notice details the recent trends in your property's assessed value and their value determination, effective as of 1/1/2011.  This valuation will be the basis of your real property tax bill for this year.  In Colorado, the assessor is required to reappraise your property every other year, which is done in each odd-numbered year.
