Check the Walk Score® of Any Home

According to the National Association of Realtors (NAR), the commute time and places to walk are two of the three most important things people look for in any community.  By using the following Walkability Map provided by Walk Score®, you can easily browse the following for any home:

• What's nearby?
• Locations for nearby restaurants, shops, schools, and parks!
• Commute time to another location
• What's accessible on a 15-minute walk?

In the above map, we've loaded the location of our office at 2425 Canyon Blvd. by default, and you can see all the different things to do in Boulder, all within a short distance from RE/MAX of Boulder.  You can simply input the new location of your home or a home you're interested in, and hit GO!  Once you see your new map, you can also enter another location under the box where it says, "Where do you commute?", and when you hit GO you'll see:

• A new map showing your destination and the best route to take
• Estimated commute times by car, bus, foot, and by bicycle
• Estimated driving costs for this commute by month, and
• Estimated hours spent/month commuting to this locattion

Don't miss the "street view" button in the top right-hand corner; click there and you'll find several more options like the Street View, Bird's Eye View, and a map showing what's accessible in a 15-minute walk.
